It takes time to become a seasoned
pro on the PGA (or equivalent) golf circuit. Within
five years, I want to attain my PGA tour card.
After that, I will be aiming at improving my game
and increasing my winnings.
Eventually, I want to be among the top players
in the world. I am not expecting to reach world
recognition for several years. Like any profession,
it takes experience to reach a consistent level
of performance.
Herb Page will verify that I have one of the highest
work ethics of any player ever at Kent State.
I will continue to work hard on my game as I aim
for success at the pro level.
I am excited about pursuing this journey. It has
been my dream to be a pro since I started playing
the game. After having played with some of the
best players in the world, I know what it takes-
persistence, practice, playing constantly and
a great mental attitude.
I will be working on many things for my third
year as a pro to improve my overall stats. Practice,
practice, practice will be a big part of what
I do more of. The difference this year is practicing
always with goals and targets in mind---no more
practicing in a vacuum! I'll focus on the emotional
management of my mental game while sharpening
my putting and long game. To help me out, I will
continue to be guided by my great coaches:
- Mentor and all round coach, Steve Chapman
- Swing coach, Sean Foley
- Putting coach, Marius Filmater
- Mental coach, Rick Jensen
